The conclusion of the 2019-2020 school year tested all of us in not only the education community but nationwide. I am proud of the work of our team here at Le Grand Elementary in their efforts to put kids before curriculum and seek to serve our community during this crisis.
While the future still remains uncertain there is one thing I can assure each of you, we will continue to put kids and community first.
Our current plan is to return to school in the fall, inviting all students back with modifications in place to mitigate as much risk in contracting COVID-19 as possible. School will look different when we return, but our goal will remain the same, we are a community of highly trained professionals, committed to ensuring every scholar is adequately prepared for college and/or career, by providing engaging and relevant instruction, in a safe and nurturing environment.
I am very proud to serve the community and families of Le Grand, and I look forward to working with you all in providing the highest quality education possible for our scholars. I look forward to building on this district’s strong foundation and many accomplishments. Working together, we will have many more accolades awaiting us in the future. I am fully committed to creating collaborative partnerships with our learners, staff, families and our community, leading Le Grand Union Elementary School District as we prepare our young scholars for their futures.
