COVID-19 Tracking Dashboard
Current Confirmed Cases
The purpose of this data is to provide our LGUESD families and staff with a summary of campus COVID-19 cases. An active case indicates that a student or staff member participating in on-campus instruction has tested positive for COVID-19. Any students or staff members who have direct exposure to a positive case are notified directly.
Dashboard Data
All confirmed COVID-19 incidents related to Le Grand Union Elementary School District will be posted to this dashboard webpage.
**For the purposes of this dashboard:
LGUESD is tracking all positive confirmed cases that were on campus during their infectious period.
Other important notes related to dashboard data:
The dashboard is updated each business day as we are notified of confirmed cases and issue contact notifications.
Cases are added to the dashboard as a final step after all contact notifications have been sent.
Cases appear on the dashboard using the date that the test was administered; This often results in a case appearing on the dashboard in a different week than the test results were received and contact notices were sent.
Information regarding individuals with COVID-19 symptoms, close contacts with someone who is COVID-19 positive, or individuals who have tested positive for the coronavirus, is sensitive, confidential information and names will not be released to the public.
LGUESD does not wait to notify close contacts upon the initial report of a positive case.
Dashboard Process
Once the district learns of an individual who has tested positive at a school site or office, these steps will be followed:
Isolate individuals if present and advise of any required self-quarantine
Consult with Merced County Public Health Department (MCPHD)
Clean and treat any affected areas
Contact tracing to determine close contacts*
Immediately notify anyone within LGUESD determined to have had close contact* and advise of any required self-quarantine
Notify anyone who may have been in proximity, such as in the classroom, school, or office
Add positive cases to the district's dashboard**
Follow any additional recommendations from the Merced County Public Health Department
*Close contact is 0-6 feet of a positive case while infectious for a period of more than 15 minutes cumulative within a 24-hour period, regardless of face coverings.
